Position Description

PranaGEO is currently seeking a Full-Stack Software Developer with AGILE/SCRUM project experience for working in International projects.

Who is PranaGEO?

PranaGEO is a startup Research and Development Company located in Bodrum providing solutions for research and software development for Data Science projects. We also offer consultancy and educational services in the areas of data science, remote sensing, spatial data analysis, environmental research and decision taking. Our mission is to provide a new, innovative software products and consultancy services that will make the challenge of conducting scientific projects easier and faster.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be an experienced, highly motivated self-starter with the ability to develop. He/she will work directly with our international clients and guided by our Chief Science Officer.

Requirements

• At least a B.S. degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Mathematics or related quantitative area.
• AGILE/SCRUM software project management skills is a definitive plus.
• Affinity with Javascript-based client interactive data visualization libraries like d3.js, Node.js and Vue.js is expected.
• Experience with hybrid mobile app development is a plus.
• Hands-on skills with database backends Neo4j and PostgreSQL are an advantage
• Ability to solve client-server communication problems within the modern scalable SaaS paradigm.
• Knowledge of R language and past work experience with geospatial data is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is required. Affinity with Turkish is a plus.
• A valid Turkish work permit.

Working Conditions

• The company is located in the beautiful Turkish mediterranean riviera, Bodrum.
• Flexible working hours.
• After having demonstrated independent working abilities, there are possibilities of working from a (international) remote location with regular travels to Bodrum, Turkey.
• The salary will be proportional to the qualifications and work experience of the candidate.
• PranaGEO will be able to provide basic housing facility in Bodrum.
